DSL – Week 7 Email

A few things as we head into week Week 7:
1. Reschedules – Please be diligent on reschedules of games that need to be made up.  Based upon our count, below are the JV/V games that were cancelled and still need to be rescheduled (while I don't have an exact count on the developmental games that need to be rescheduled, I would ask that coaches also get those made up as well):
  • Need make-up date and game time for one cancelled game in Week 1 (OLF Varsity with AAG).

  • Need make-up date and game time for one cancelled game in Week 5 (AMA JV with St. Kilian).
  • Need make-up date and game times for seven cancelled games in Week 3 (AAG JV & Varsity with St. James; DMA Varsity with BFSA; St. Kilian JV & Varsity with H. Cross; AA JV & Varsity with GAA).
  • Need make-up dates and game times for three cancelled games in Week 2 (DMA Varsity with AAG; AAG JV with Carlow; OLF Varsity with St. Bede).
  • Need make-up date and game time for one cancelled game in Week 7 (AMA JV with St. Kilian)
2. JV/Varsity Playoffs. We have confirmed with our host venue (Seton LaSalle HS) the playoff dates.  For teams that qualify, we will be having games Friday, May 31, Saturday, June 1, and Sunday June 2.  Due to field setup constraints we will likely be having four 7v7 games on Friday, an additional four 7v7 games on Saturday morning, five 11v11 games Saturday afternoon, two 7v7 Championship games on Saturday evening, two 7v7 championship games on Sunday afternoon, and four 11v11 championship game Sunday afternoon/evening.  That being said, we do ask that teams keep that weekend generally available and I'll finalize dates and times once the playing field has been determined.

3. Developmental and All Girls Tournament Registrations:  Below is what I have as confirmed registrations for each school for the May 18th Developmental Tournament.  Coaches/Coordinators, this Saturday, May 4th is the final date for registrations.  I'd ask each school to review the below registration information and let me know if any corrections are needed.  Also, I am waiting for final confirmation from the following schools for the applicable brackets.  Also note, absent direction from a school to the contrary, I will assume that regular season coaches of each team are the same for tournament.  If there are any changes to that, please let me know.

  • AMA – Need final count for your third grade teams (1 or 2)
  • BFS – Need final count for your JV/V girls teams (0 or 1 each)
  • OLF – Need final count for your third/fourth grade teams (0, 1 or 2)
  • SH – Need final count for your V Girls teams (0 or 1)
