Good Evening, thanks again to all who attended this past Saturday's DSL Tournament, we had great weather and a record amount of teams participating. It was great to see all of you and the kids there enjoying this beautiful game.
For Week 10 reminders I have a few things on the JV/V side and then I'd like to acknowledge the teams from the tournament this past weekend that were able to advance out of bracket.
1. JV/MLS games. As a reminder, all games must be played and the results entered into the webpage by no later than 10pm this Sunday, November 1. If a game is played after then, or if a scorecard is loaded after then, it will likely not count for playoff determinations. What I need from each team, even if you are not in the playoffs, is the following:
- Look at the standings page on the website and let me know immediately if there is a game that was played but not captured there. The standings page will give you the overall big picture and if you need to dial into specific game details, the results tab can help you there.
- If you play any games from now through Sunday, upload the score card immediately from the field so that there are no issues and it gives us time to trouble shoot issues if they do arise.
- Make every effort to get your games in, the weather does not appear to be a huge factor this weeks games.
- Review the below list of unplayed games and with respect to games that were originally to be played prior to today's date, if it has been rescheduled, together with time and location or whether it is a forfeit. That will help keep me and the refs all on the same page and avoid miscommunications. Please include Russ Caprio on your response so he will be aware of reffing assignments and can make sure it matches what he has on file. I know a lot of the make-up dates were communicated via emails earlier in the season, but to streamline things and avoid missteps, I'd like to get that info in one place and top of mind for all involved. Also, absent any indication from me or you to the contrary, unplayed games default to being assessed as unplayed. If a forfeit win/loss is sought, that needs to be brought to my attention immediately to determine whether or not that is appropriate when the totality of the situation is assessed.

Thanks, I know that the above is a lot, but your input on this will help us make sure that there are not any misses and that games are getting captured and recorded correctly. To that end, if I have missed anything from the above list, let me know that as well.
2. End of Developmental and All Girls season. We had a great showing this weekend and I want to congratulate everyone on a great season and a great day on which to end it. I also wanted to acknowledge the teams that were able to get out of bracket on Saturday, the competition was crowded and fierce so advancing out of bracket deserves recognition:
